is proud to present family entertainment and a fireworks display this New Years Eve.
A major fireworks display will commence at midnight.
A smaller fireworks display will be held at 9 pm.

Loch Sport R.S.L. News: CHISTMAS IN JULY
We welcome fellow Loch Sportians to come and join us on July 8th and 9th
for fun and entertainment for our first ever Christmas in July.
There will be live entertainment both nights with the Christmas theme.
Meals will commence at 6:00 p.m. The band will start at around 7:00 p.m.
The hard working, ever reliable Ladies Auxiliary will decorate the venue.
Our courtesy bus will be operational and more visible with one of our volunteer drivers
attending to ensure you get home safely after a wonderful entertaining night/s.
Come to both if you so wish. The more the merrier.
We as a committee are trying to have entertaining nights during these cold wintry months
for the benefit of our great community of the paradise of Loch Sport.
All are welcome, so, please come & Join us.

Next Monthly Meeting: Monday 11 July 2005 at 10 am, at Loch Sport Health Centre Meeting Room.
There will be no June meeting due to Queen Birthday Long Weekend.
Monthly Meetings are planned for second Monday February to December at 10 am, AGM 1 August 2005?
Due to events some meetings may be moved, check with your local Auxiliary member for current time and date.
If you like to be a New Members, Membership $1 per year, for voting between July-August/AGM included, paid prior to June 30th
Visitor are welcome to any/all meetings. Renewal of Membership paid at the end of August AGM.
"We have decided to change our Meeting dates, so from April onwards we will meet at 10 am
on the second Monday of each month.
Don't forget this is a Public Meeting and we will welcome anyone who likes to keep up

Before April 2005 Monthly Meetings were planned for first Monday February to December at 2pm,
Auxiliary 2005 Meetings were held on 7 February and 7 March at 2 pm, at Loch Sport Health Centre Meeting Room.
Auxiliary 2004 Meetings were held on Monday 2 February, 1 March, 5 April, 3rd May, 7th June, 5 July.
13th September, 4 October, 1 November and 6 December. AGM 2 August 2004.
Auxiliary 2003 Meetings were held on Monday 3 February 2003. There was no March Meeting.
7 April, 5 May, 2 June, 7 July, 1 September and 6 October 2003.
Monday 3 November meeting was moved forward to Monday 27 October.
AGM, Monday 4 August 2003 at 11 am. August Public Meeting was at a special time, Monday 11 August at 2.30 pm.

Days of ban as of 3/2005 - Total Fire Ban - Victoria Wide on:
North East area on 14 January 2005.
All areas of country Victoria except Gippsland on 11 January 2005.
Victoria Northern/Western areas on 1 February, 19 January 2005 and 31 November 2004.

Gippsland have had 0 days of Total Fire Ban this summer as of 3/2005.
Fire Ready Victoria held at Loch Sport Fire Station,
Saturday 20 November 2004 at 3.30 pm with free community BBQ.

Coastal Towns UDF
An Urban Design Framework (UDF) is being prepared for a number of coastal towns in eastern Victoria.
The UDF is intended to address existing development issues and guide long term development in these towns.
In Wellington Shire this project covers: Loch Sport, Golden Beach/Paradise Beach, The Honeysuckies,
Seaspray, Mc Loughlin's Beach, Woodside Beach, Roberstson's Beach, Mann's Beach.
The consultants appointed by Council (Meinhardt Infrastructure & Environment Pty Ltd)
will be conducting public meeting/workshops in each of these towns during January 2005.
Loch Sport UDF at 7.30 - 9.00 pm Tuesday 25th January 2005 at Loch Sport Public Hall.
"155+ locals and visitors where at the evening meeting held on 25/1,
after two hours a survey and forms were given out. Deadline 9 Feb for feedback." |
